AUGUST 2008 - Everest Climbing for a Cure
In 2005, a group of avid climbers set out to climb Mt. Everest in an effort to raise cancer awareness, education and prevention. Founder Rob Chang lost his sister to a rare form of cancer, and started the foundation in hopes of “climbing high mountains for others.” Additionally, the organization recognizes the need to give back to the local communities where the expeditions take place, and has established multiple community-based programs. A Kestrel 4000 accompanied Rob and his team to the top of the world in ’05, and Nielsen-Kellerman is honored to support this organization and its cause.
